Legislative Conference Oct 2023

Engage, Advocate, and Influence: Don’t Miss the American College of Cardiology’s 2023 Legislative Conference!

October 15-17, 2023 | Washington, D.C.

The American College of Cardiology’s (ACC) 2023 Legislative Conference will take place October 15-17 at the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill! Registration is now open for comped attendees. Don’t miss this annual opportunity to learn more about the major issues impacting the practice of cardiology and meet with your members of Congress on Tuesday, October 17.

This year’s conference occurs during an important time as Congress is considering policies that would stabilize the Medicare payment system, address health care workforce shortages, decrease health care delivery inequities across the nation and more. National attention on these issues, among others, further underscores the importance of continuing ACC’s advocacy work on behalf of clinicians, patients and the entire medical community.

The conference will commence on Sunday, October 15, with an exclusive HeartPAC donor event, featuring political experts who will provide insight into the dynamics of this Congress and how that will impact next year’s elections. This event has a separate registration process – please contact Ryan Moore (rmoore@acc.org) to register or for more information.

On Monday, October 16, there will be educational sessions featuring leaders in cardiology and top advocates briefing attendees on the hot-button issues that impact cardiovascular professionals across the country.

On Tuesday, October 17, conference participants will join pre-arranged meetings with members of Congress and their staff to discuss ways to improve cardiovascular care and health policy.

This is your chance to ensure the voice of cardiology is heard on Capitol Hill. Detailed information on how to register is below.
